Do you work on a project basis or on retainer?
Both. Most engagements start project-based — fixed scope, agreed deliverables, weekly demos — and convert to retainer once it's clear we're a fit. We don't require a retainer to start.

What's your engagement minimum?
There's no hard minimum. The shortest we've taken on was a 2-week architecture audit; the longest runs into years. For a full build, anything under ~6 weeks usually isn't worth the ramp on either side.

Do you sign NDAs?
Yes — happy to. We default to a standard mutual NDA, but if your legal team has a preferred template, send it over and we'll work from yours.

Where are your engineers based?
Tirol, Austria. We work in CET / CEST hours with collaborators in adjacent time zones for synchronous overlap with the US east coast and most of Europe.

Do you work in both English and German?
First-class, both. Day-to-day communication, code review, planning, design discussion — any of it in either language. Code itself stays English, of course.

What's a typical timeline for a mobile or web app?
A meaningful v1 is 8–14 weeks for a focused mobile app, 6–10 weeks for a focused web app. Architecture-only engagements run 1–3 weeks. We'd rather give you a concrete number after a 30-minute scoping call than a generic range here.

Do you transfer code ownership at delivery?
Yes — everything we write for you is yours, in your repo, under your CI. No escrow, no licence-back, no surprise hold on the source.
